ז הַכְּמַכַּת מַכֵּהוּ, הִכָּהוּ: אִם-כְּהֶרֶג הֲרֻגָיו, הֹרָג.
ח בְּסַאסְּאָה, בְּשַׁלְחָהּ תְּרִיבֶנָּה; הָגָה בְּרוּחוֹ הַקָּשָׁה, בְּיוֹם קָדִים.
ט לָכֵן, בְּזֹאת יְכֻפַּר עֲו‍ֹן-יַעֲקֹב, וְזֶה, כָּל-פְּרִי הָסִר חַטָּאתוֹ: בְּשׂוּמוֹ כָּל-אַבְנֵי מִזְבֵּחַ, כְּאַבְנֵי-גִר מְנֻפָּצוֹת, לֹא-יָקֻמוּ אֲשֵׁרִים, וְחַמָּנִים.
י כִּי עִיר בְּצוּרָה, בָּדָד, נָוֶה, מְשֻׁלָּח וְנֶעֱזָב כַּמִּדְבָּר; שָׁם יִרְעֶה עֵגֶל וְשָׁם יִרְבָּץ, וְכִלָּה סְעִפֶיהָ.
יא בִּיבֹשׁ קְצִירָהּ, תִּשָּׁבַרְנָה, נָשִׁים, בָּאוֹת מְאִירוֹת אוֹתָהּ: כִּי לֹא עַם-בִּינוֹת, הוּא–עַל-כֵּן לֹא-יְרַחֲמֶנּוּ עֹשֵׂהוּ, וְיֹצְרוֹ לֹא יְחֻנֶּנּוּ. {פ}

The haftarah הפטרה “parting” for parashah Shemot שְׁמוֹת “names” is studied and recited from “The Prophets” (נְבִיאִים Nəḇî’îm)‎ Book of Isaiah 27:6-28:13, 29:22-23. Isaiah is an anointed prophet (nebiya נָבִיא/”spokesman, speaker) through The Holy Spirit ( רוח הקודש Ruakh HaKodesh) for Yahweh, concerning the immediate situation during his own time (The physical Babylonian exile) as well as to provide a metaphysical parabolic vision of the situation that was to come in our time(The spiritual exile in Babel בָּבֶל “mental confusion”) On one level of interpretation, it is important to recognize, through dispensational revelation, that the pattern of prophecy utilizes nations that were historical enemies of Israel to serve as a metaphoric blueprint for spiritually ignorant attitudes, that would occur in the latter days, as an amalgam of residual corruption. This does not discount the respective significance of each biblical nation specifically in phi-cycle reality. The book, of Isaiah, opens by setting out the themes of judgment and subsequent restoration for the righteous. God has a plan which will be realized on the “Day of Yahweh”, when Jerusalem ((יְרוּשָׁלַם Yĕruwshalaim “teaching of peace” “city of peace”) will become the center of his worldwide rule. On that day all the nations of the world will come to Zion/Tziyuwn צִיּוּן “a pillar” (Jerusalem) for instruction, but first the city must be punished and cleansed of evil. Chapters 13–27 announce the preparation of the nations for Yahweh’s world rule; chapters 28–33 announce that a royal saviour (a messiah) will emerge in the aftermath of Israel’s punishment and the destruction of her oppressor.

Isaiah 27
Verse 6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root (Sharash שֵׁרֵשׁ I.to uproot, take root, deal with the roots [compare with re’shiyth רֵאשִׁית “beginning”) .Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
(NOTE:Ras Tefferi ራስ ተፈሪ “Head to be Reverenced” (compare with Rosh tiph’arah רֹאשׁ תִּפְאָרָה “Head of Beauty, Spendor, Glory [kabowd כָּבוֹד/kibur ክብር] as an attribute of GOD)
This prophecy was fulfilled, on earth, when Ras Tefferi Makonnen was anointed Qedamawi Haile Selassie “First Power of The Trinity”, on the world stage (paniyi tebel פְנֵי־תֵבֵל “face of the world”), in Addis Abeba አዲስ አበባ “New Flower” Ethiopia “Abyssinia”.

When we as Israel “deal with the roots” we find [The Holy Bible clearly tells us that Gihon (White Nile) goes around the whole land of Cush, or Ethiopia (Genesis 2:13). On this point many scholars agree. Cush in Hebrew, Ethiopia in Greek and Sudan in Arabic mean the same, burned face, and this is a fact that these burned face people live in this region of the Globe, the land of Cush. Note that all East African countries, with exception of Egypt, through which the river Gihon goes was identified as the Biblical Ethiopia (Cush). The Bible also tells us that Noah begot Ham, Ham begot Cush and Cush begot Havilah (Genesis 10: 1-7) and the land of Havilah is in Ethiopia identified today as Godjam, the land skirted by the river Pishon (Genesis 2:11-12) or the Blue Nile, the first of the four river of Eden. No land like Godjam in Ethiopia is skirted by such big river in the world!
If, according to the Bible, we identify Gihon as the land of Cush or Ethiopia or Sudan, and that Havilah whose land is skirted by the river Pishon is the son of Cush, then Havilah and Pishon cannot be somewhere in the Middle East. Cush cannot send his son Havilah to Middle East from Africa than providing a part from his land, Ethiopia. From this, it is clear to understand that Pishon and Gihon, the first and second rivers of Eden, are in East Africa biblically known as Ethiopia and those of the third and fourth rivers of Eden in the Middle East.
If we agree on this, then where are the Eden and the Garden? It is again clearly stated in the Bible that a river went out of Eden to water the Garden (Genesis 2:10) although the Bible does not indicate which river waters the Garden after the division of the river into four riverheads; but which river is assumed to water the Garden? It should be the first river, Pishon, because the land of Havilah (known today as Godjam) is watered and moisturized by the river Pishon (Blue Nile) throughout the year still today. Verses 7 Hath he smitten him “Israel”, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?
8 In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.

In verse 7 Our Prophet Isaiah (Yeshayah יְשַׁעְיָה “Yahweh has Saved”) foretells the fulfillment of this prophecy by Masiakh ben Yousef/Our Lord and Savior Eyesus Kristos “Jesus Christ” through his rejection by Israel (confer with the account of Yeshua HaMasiakh in front of The Sanhedrin [סַנְהֶדְרִין “sitting together”: an assembly of twenty to twenty-three men appointed in every city in the biblical Land of Israel. Sadducees and Pharisees who worked hard to keep the peace by agreeing with the decisions of Rome ] that is found in Matthew 26:68 Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ “Masiakh”, Who is he that smote thee?) The evidence is being presented for whomever chooses to debate it.

Concurrently, Isaiah foreshadows the revelation of Masiakh ben David/in the person of H.I.M. Haile Selassie I, The Conquering Lion of The Tribe of Judah [יְהוּדָה Yĕhuwdah “Praises of GOD” from the root יָדָה yadah:I.to throw, shoot, cast A. (Qal) to shoot (arrows) B. (Piel) to cast, cast down, throw down C. (Hiphil) I. to give thanks,, laud, praise ii. to confess, confess (the name of God)] Although it is debated, Qedamawi Haile Selassie still demonstrates the Love of Christ and shows His Grace to racial/religious Israel and Judeo-Christians, so that we may all “repent” (תשובה teshubah “return/μετανοέω metanoeō “have a change of mind and heart”) in and through Yeshua HaMasiakh who was slain so that “Jacob be purged…and his sin taken away” (NOTE: The Name Jacob is used here rather than Israel. For further insight refer to Genesis 32:28). Still, left to freewill or due to lack of knowledge thereof, many choose to forsake the habitation by remaining in the wilderness to be consumed as the branches thereof.

Verse 10 addresses the Babylonian Captivity/Exile after Asharah beTebet (עשרה בטבת‎) the destruction of Solomon’s Temple by Nebuchadnezzar II but also prefigures the destruction of Herod’s הוֹרְדוֹס (Herod Antipater “a madman who murdered his own family and a great many rabbis”, “the evil genius of the Judean nation”) “second temple”, August 70 CE (AM 3830).
However, The New Covenant shows that the habitation is no longer confined to a physical location of a inanimate structure. John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21: But he spake of the temple of his body
and 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

He pleaded with them to STOP this fast-mounting Fascist threat to world peace at Ethiopia, before it invaded France and Britain, and started the greatest conflagration of world war in history. The closing statements in paragraph above, from the author, Herbert W. Armstrong’s, Eurocentric psychological state, exposes a dual observation that H.I.M. Haile Selassie’s two edged sword “The Teaching of His Majesty” (see Hebrews 4:12) will end European Colonial world domination (a.k.a. end of The Times of The Gentiles see Revelation 11) and manifest international security, based on principles of Human Rights, for all people.

One of the keys to comprehending Verses 11-13 is found in
John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Compare John 15:14 with Exodus 33:11 And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

Haile Selassie: I would tell a person who was considering the claim of Christ for the first time that it is necessary to have faith in the Almighty, that it is necessary to have love, and that it is necessary to conduct oneself in a manner that we have been taught to do in the Bible.
I would also advise him to seek the secular knowledge, for the more one knows the more he realises the need for a prime mover, the need for a Creator, a Creator who is good, and the need for salvation and also for peaceful life upon earth.
I would also tell him to learn and to think for himself the ways he would serve the Lord. In this thought and in this undertaking of his he will inevitably find the way of serving his fellow men. For his faith would then be manifested by His conduct. If Christians behave in this way, if we dedicate ourselves to this fundamental task, then we will have a peaceful world and will be assured of not transgressing against the will and the Commandments of God.

In addition, Verse 12 provides insight into and clarifies the concept of rapture. Referring to Acts 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the “eunuch” saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
This is an account of Apostle Phillip baptizing The Ethiopian Hebrew treasurer, who was returning from a pilgrimage to Jerusalem and reading from Isaiah 53:7-8. The treasurer of Candace (Kandake: title for queens and queen mothers of the ancient African Kingdom of Kush, also known as Nubia and Ethiopia: Candace of Meroë fought Alexander the Great. In fact, Alexander never attacked Nubia, and never attempted to move further south than the oasis of Siwa in Egypt.)
From this perspective, we see the gathering of Israel by The Spirit of The Lord (Ruakh Hadosdesh רוח הקודש )one by one as corresponding to the word harpazō (ἁρπάζω .to seize, carry off by force, claim for one’s self eagerly). Furthermore, Apostle Phillip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesareais. Thus, the concept of rapture should not be interpreted, under delusion, as a escape from the tribulation of the age. As Our Prophet Berhane Selassie “Light of The Trinity” a.k.a.
