Zechariah
4:1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.
2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
4 So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
8 Moreover The Word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.
10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

זְכַרְיָה
א וַיָּשָׁב, הַמַּלְאָךְ הַדֹּבֵר בִּי; וַיְעִירֵנִי, כְּאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר-יֵעוֹר מִשְּׁנָתוֹ.
ב וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי, מָה אַתָּה רֹאֶה; ויאמר (וָאֹמַר) רָאִיתִי וְהִנֵּה מְנוֹרַת זָהָב כֻּלָּהּ וְגֻלָּהּ עַל-רֹאשָׁהּ, וְשִׁבְעָה נֵרֹתֶיהָ עָלֶיהָ–שִׁבְעָה וְשִׁבְעָה מוּצָקוֹת, לַנֵּרוֹת אֲשֶׁר עַל-רֹאשָׁהּ.
ג וּשְׁנַיִם זֵיתִים, עָלֶיהָ: אֶחָד מִימִין הַגֻּלָּה, וְאֶחָד עַל-שְׂמֹאלָהּ.
ד וָאַעַן, וָאֹמַר, אֶל-הַמַּלְאָךְ הַדֹּבֵר בִּי, לֵאמֹר: מָה-אֵלֶּה, אֲדֹנִי.
ה וַיַּעַן הַמַּלְאָךְ הַדֹּבֵר בִּי, וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי, הֲלוֹא יָדַעְתָּ, מָה-הֵמָּה אֵלֶּה; וָאֹמַר, לֹא אֲדֹנִי.
ו וַיַּעַן וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי, לֵאמֹר, זֶה דְּבַר-יְהוָה, אֶל-זְרֻבָּבֶל לֵאמֹר: לֹא בְחַיִל, וְלֹא בְכֹחַ–כִּי אִם-בְּרוּחִי, אָמַר יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת.
ז מִי-אַתָּה הַר-הַגָּדוֹל לִפְנֵי זְרֻבָּבֶל, לְמִישֹׁר; וְהוֹצִיא, אֶת-הָאֶבֶן הָרֹאשָׁה–תְּשֻׁאוֹת, חֵן חֵן לָהּ. {פ}
ח וַיְהִי דְבַר-יְהוָה, אֵלַי לֵאמֹר.
ט יְדֵי זְרֻבָּבֶל, יִסְּדוּ הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה–וְיָדָיו תְּבַצַּעְנָה; וְיָדַעְתָּ, כִּי-יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת שְׁלָחַנִי אֲלֵיכֶם.
י כִּי מִי בַז, לְיוֹם קְטַנּוֹת, וְשָׂמְחוּ וְרָאוּ אֶת-הָאֶבֶן הַבְּדִיל בְּיַד זְרֻבָּבֶל, שִׁבְעָה-אֵלֶּה; עֵינֵי יְהוָה, הֵמָּה מְשׁוֹטְטִים בְּכָל-הָאָרֶץ.
יא וָאַעַן, וָאֹמַר אֵלָיו: מַה-שְּׁנֵי הַזֵּיתִים הָאֵלֶּה, עַל-יְמִין הַמְּנוֹרָה וְעַל-שְׂמֹאולָהּ.
יב וָאַעַן שֵׁנִית, וָאֹמַר אֵלָיו: מַה-שְׁתֵּי שִׁבְּלֵי הַזֵּיתִים, אֲשֶׁר בְּיַד שְׁנֵי צַנְתְּרוֹת הַזָּהָב, הַמְרִיקִים מֵעֲלֵיהֶם, הַזָּהָב.
יג וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי לֵאמֹר, הֲלוֹא יָדַעְתָּ מָה-אֵלֶּה; וָאֹמַר, לֹא אֲדֹנִי.
יד וַיֹּאמֶר, אֵלֶּה שְׁנֵי בְנֵי-הַיִּצְהָר, הָעֹמְדִים, עַל-אֲדוֹן כָּל-הָאָרֶץ

ትንቢተ ዘካርያስ
ምዕራፍ አራት ።
1፤ ከእኔም ጋር ይነጋገር የነበረው መልአክ ተመልሶ ከእንቅልፉ እንደሚነቃ ሰው አነቃኝ።
2፤ እርሱም። የምታየው ምንድር ነው? አለኝ። እኔም። እነሆ፥ ሁለንተናው ወርቅ የሆነውን መቅረዝ አየሁ፤ የዘይትም ማሰሮ በራሱ ላይ ነበረ፥ ሰባትም መብራቶች ነበሩበት፤ በራሱም ላይ ለነበሩት መብራቶች ሰባት ቧንቧዎች ነበሩአቸው።
3፤ ሁለት የወይራ ዛፎች፥ አንዱ በማሰሮው በስተ ቀኝ አንዱም በስተ ግራው ሆነው፥ በአጠገቡ ነበሩ አልሁ።
4፤ ከእኔ ጋር ይነጋገር ለነበረውም መልአክ መልሼ። ጌታዬ ሆይ፥ እነዚህ ምንድር ናቸው? አልሁት።
5፤ ከእኔ ጋር ይነጋገር የነበረውም መልአክ መልሶ። እነዚህ ምን እንደ ሆኑ አታውቅምን? አለኝ። እኔም። ጌታዬ ሆይ፥ አላውቅም አልሁ።
6፤ መልሶም። ለዘሩባቤል የተባለው የእግዚአብሔር ቃል ይህ ነው። በመንፈሴ እንጂ በኃይልና በብርታት አይደለም፥ ይላል የሠራዊት ጌታ እግዚአብሔር።
7፤ ታላቅ ተራራ ሆይ፥ አንተ ምንድር ነህ? በዘሩባቤል ፊት ደልዳላ ሜዳ ትሆናለህ፤ ሰዎችም። ሞገስ፥ ሞገስ ይሁንለት ብለው እየጮኹ እርሱ መደምደሚያውን ድንጋይ ያወጣል ብሎ ተናገረኝ።
8፤ የእግዚአብሔርም ቃል ወደ እኔ እንዲህ ሲል መጣ።
9፤ የዘሩባቤል እጆች ይህን ቤት መሠረቱ፥ የእርሱም እጆች ይፈጽሙታል፤ የሠራዊት ጌታ እግዚአብሔርም ወደ እናንተ እንደ ላከኝ ታውቃላችሁ።
10፤ የጥቂቱን ነገር ቀን የናቀ ማን ነው? እነዚህ ሰባቱ ደስ ብሎአቸው በዘሩባቤል እጅ ቱንቢውን ያያሉ፤ እነዚህም በምድር ሁሉ የሚዘዋወሩ የእግዚአብሔር ዓይኖች ናቸው።
11፤ እኔም መልሼ። በመቅረዙ በስተ ቀኝና በስተ ግራ ያሉ እነዚህ ሁለት የወይራ ዛፎች ምንድር ናቸው? አልሁት።
12፤ ሁለተኛም መልሼ። በሁለቱ የወርቅ ቧንቧዎች አጠገብ ሆነው የወርቁን ዘይት የሚያፈስሱ እነዚህ ሁለት የወይራ ቅርንጫፎች ምንድር ናቸው? አልሁት።
13፤ እርሱም መልሶ። እነዚህ ምን እንደ ሆኑ አታውቅምን? አለኝ። እኔም ። ጌታዬ ሆይ፥ አላውቅም አልሁት።
14፤ እርሱም። በምድር ሁሉ ጌታ አጠገብ የቆሙት ሁለቱ የተቀቡት እነዚህ ናቸው አለኝ።

Revelation 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
