Understanding, Innerstanding and Overcoming The Evil Tongue #LashonHara #Leprosy

The Plague of Leprosy laws of the Torah detail practical Hebrew health, hygiene and quarantine protocols in regards to communicable diseases within the community.  Parabolically, the section foreshadows Yeshua the Messiah’s work of healing and cleansing His people from sin and death through the process of a lepers repentance and restoration (symbolically likened to “the new birth”).

The sages teach that the highly contagious symptoms of leprosy are transmitted through evil speech (Lashon Hara [לשון הרע] literally Evil Tongue: i.e. Slander, Defamation, Talebearing, Gossip..etc). The Teaching contains great wisdom as any community cannot efficiently function at her optimal capacity if harmony and security are compromised by internal conflict and contention (neither can an individual with such a condition thrive). Hence, lepers are ostracized into solitude to reflect upon the pathology of their behavior and readmitted into the community upon examination and offering ritual (paying a fine in one application); conducted by the priest. Afterward, the one cleansed is able to resume their place in the community as well as their communion with ELoHIM.

“every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” (Matthew 12:36)

In the Psyche (Soul)-Spiritual realm, Evil Speech begins in the Mind as Word (Thought) proceeding Word (Speech) and is often followed by Action (whether on the part of the individual or collectively; see also Kebra Negast Capter 100 Concerning the Angels that Rebelled). Such inclinations of transmitting evil through vibratory frequency manifests numerous malevolent consequences. The Power of Speech is demonstrated in Genesis 1 whereby EloHIM manifested HIS intelligent design by speaking His Creation into her existence.

The 9th commandment directly forbids bearing false witness.

In regards to matters of investigation, the Judges of Israel are commanded to Seek, Inquire and Interrogate DILIGENTLY; (Though presented in a judicial context, the principle derived is that the Evil Intent of a False Witness shall be executed against him/her; karma to use a profane term). David in the Psalms reveal that, in due time, the heavenly court functions according to the same principle. 

 

Pathologically, an individual becomes highly susceptible to delusion when he/she perpetrates or is influenced by Evil Speech as faulty thinking becomes incorporated into their reality. Choosing to actively disseminate or accept falsehood creates an internal state of cognitive dissonance; if unresolved by truth and truthful readjustment. In procedure, as further facts come to light that logically contradict the falsehood; further falsehood is required to sustain the initial error which is the foundation of a faulty construct. (Hence, terms such as denial, pathological liar, multi-personality disorder…etc)

 

 

In practice, Evil Speech has been utilized by Satan to manipulate fallen humanity throughout time by way of an illusory perception of advantage to achieve both personal and societal gain. As we are at the end time of the Anglo-Gentile 400 year Nation States system, the atmosphere of social media driven frenzy certainly calls for us to put on the whole armor of ELoHIM; lest we become as the souls without the anchor of Messiah/Christ so easily “driven to and fro by every wind of doctrine”; even doctrine contrary to the Revelation of ELoHIM’s will.

Although, in phi-cycle time, the inequity of the Amorites (Anglo-Americans) is not yet full, the 400 years of what is pseudonymously called “White Supremacy” (old leprosy) no longer needs to be a psychologically festering boil. As this present world system expires, we would do well to remember Messiah abolished in His (Black) flesh the emnity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.  

An Error Doesn’t Become A Mistake Until One Refuses to Correct It

The purification of the leper was a process that required time; hence it is a matter of graduated growth and refinement but just as with any process the first step is always required. “Let the Words of my Mouth and the Meditation of my Heart Be Humbly Acceptable in Thy Sight JAH Rastafari”
