Parashah 15 Bo/פָּרָשָׁה בּוֹא: The Signs of the Times; The Collapse of Spiritual Egypt


Shalom! During our 15th Sabbath Study of Parashah Bo/”‘Portion’ Enter or Go into”, it’s crucial for us to discern why Moses was commanded, by YHWH Elohim, to go into Pharoah or “The Great house”. The first verse in the reading we learn that the reason is “that I might shew these my signs before him:”

Before addressing the subject matter aforementioned, we should recognize that Egypt, in this context, is an allegory Torah utilizes to reveal to us a system of bondage that hold’s, in captivity, the human spirit, soul and body (a trinity: compare with Genesis 1:27/Psalm 82:6/Galatians 3:26: also Compare with Revelation 7:8).

At this point, it becomes necessary to clarify that HaElohim (הַאֱלֹהִים) is the “Tri-Une Source of Creation”, whereas YHWH is His Covenant Name. We know this by comprehending the suffix “im”/[ים]  which is collective plural. Thus, HaElohim is Tri-Une and ekhad (אֶחָד) “unified”/not yakhid (יָחִיד) “single”. Is this Divine pattern not observable throughout creation? (SEE Romans 1:20)


Second, we should understand that, biblically, Pharaoh/”The Great House” metaphysically represents the force that rules the body under the material realm of low vibrational frequency or wavelength of light. In this study, we learn that Pharaoh is also a composite sketch of the “god of this word” which has apparently manifested outwardly in the current system of bondage, in this Spiritual Egypt we find ourselves in, whether it be pseudo-law, pseudo-economy, pseudo-religion, etc. (SEE 2 Corinthians 4:4).

It is also interesting to note that the Hebrew Word BO (בּוֹא) when looked at as an entire glyph from left to right we see the (Aleph, We, Beyt). In the Ancient Hebrew, the (Aleph [א]) glyph is an “Ox Head” which symbolized “Power”/El (אֶל) in Hebrew/Heyl (ኀይል) in Amharic. The (We/Waw [ו]) glyph is a “tent peg” and in certain “mystic” traditions would indicate a connection between heaven and earth or a line of light from the Divine Source. The glyph for (Beyt [ב]) is a “tent” which appears more like a floor plan for a foundation. One application of the Hebrew word Beyt would actually mean “house”. However, in this case, we can see the letter Beyt to be likened to throne. When we perceive the fullness of the glyph it reveals the Power of YHWH, vested in Moses, from Heaven to Earth enter into Pharaoh  “The Great House” with the king (representing the principle ruling over the faculty in consciousness) upon the throne. Furthermore, following a similar logic by utilizing the Atbash Cipher we see the word Shapat ([שָׁפַט]: to judge, punish or vindicate).

Isaiah 52:5 Now therefore, what have I here, saith YHWH, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith YHWH; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. and Isaiah 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a NEW NAME, which the mouth of the YHWH shall name.

The Signs in Parsashah Bo

Two Signs

One vital theme we find in this portion emphasizes Ototai/”Signs” (אֹתֹתַי). During our reading we encounter these “signs” mentioned 3 times in specific verses. All the plagues were certainly included among YHWH’s signs. Nonetheless, in this portion, the mention of these signs when connected integrally relate to Pesakh/”Passover” (פֶּסַח ), which is also recounted for during this portion. Being that we are currently in the season of the Blood Moon Tetrad, as we proceed, it would be good to keep in mind what we learned in Genesis 1:14 “…that the lights in the firmaments are for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.” (compare with Psalm 90:12/Daniel 7:25)

Recall, in the 1st verse of our reading, it is indicated that the purpose of Moses entering into Pharaoh is to show YHWH’s signs to Pharaoh and his servants. Again, the key word here is “Signs”/ Ototai which in singular would be Owth (אוֹת [AUTHOR NOTE: sounds very much like “oath”). As we can see, it is written as (Aleph We Taw). (We/Waw) being the grammatical connector, likened to the English use of “and”. This being the case, Owth would literally translate to Alpha and Omega in Greek (ἄλφα καί Ω). The Aleph-Taw is the signature of Christ. (SEE Revelation 1:8,11/21:6/22:13 compare with Isaiah 46:10 and click the Aleph-Taw link above for commentary on Genesis 1:1)

In the 2nd verse, we are admonished to recount “what things YHWH wrought in Egypt, [even Spiritual Egypt], and His Majesty’s signs which HE has done among them.” In our recounting, we are to speak concerning these signs to our Sons and Son’s Sons so that they may know His Majesty Qedamawi Haile Sellassie is YHWH! Torah records the same word for signs/we’Et’Ototai (וְאֶת־אֹתֹתַי) in this verse, as in the previous verse concerning Pharaoh, but we see the additional Hebrew glyphs (We Aleph Taw) preceding it.

3rd Sign and 4th Signs

In Exodus 11:7,  we learn that YHWH ordains a separations between the Egyptians and Israel to be accomplished through the final plague . But how is this separation to be distinguished? The answer is found in Exodus 12:13. Again, we see that it is done with the owth or sign which the KJV translates as “Token”. This actually is a bad choice of wording; being that a token provides entry. In this verse, owth is written as le’OT (לְאֹת) without the (We/Waw) between the (Aleph-Taw). However, the (Lamed [ל]) precedes it. (Compare Number 21:8,9/John 3:14)

The same form of “sign/token” is mentioned for the 4th and final time in this portion in Exodus 13:6. The Hebrew letter (Taw) numerically carrying the value of 4 represents the sign of the cross. It is interesting that the token is upon our hand/yad (יָד) and the “between out “eye”/Ayin (עַיִן ). (Compare Revelation 7:3)

The Lamed, in the Ancient Hebrew Glyph, is the “Shepherd Staff“. In the Masoretic Hebrew, the glyph pictorially corresponds with the  Uraeus or Wadjet. In the MDU-NTR hieroglyphic system the symbol is used to ascribe sovereignty, royalty, divinity, and divine authority. The ideogram used for the Wadjet is the Eye of Re. Of course, this needs to be put into proper context. For example, when we read in Genesis 22:12, during the Akedah/”Binding of Isaac” Abraham called a place YHWH-Yireh (יְהוָה יִרְאֶה: “YHWH Sees”/His Majesty Sees). This place being where the “Ram”/Ayil (אַיִל) was caught in the “thicket”/Sebeq (סְּבַךְ) as a sacrifice in place of Isaac.

goodshepherd John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”/Hebrews 13:20 “Now BeShalom HaElohim, brought again from the dead our Adoneinu Yeshua (אֲדֹנֵנוּ יֵשׁוּעַ), that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant.”

This final SIGN is speaking in regards to the Blood of “The Passover Lamb/Sacrifice”/Korban Pesakh (קרבן פסח). Torah presents this as a shadow type of blood sacrifice which is fulfilled in and through Yeshua HaMashiakh. (See Hebrews 9:22) This “token” is how we “enter” into Covenant with YHWH/HE WHO BE His Majesty Qedamawi Haile Sellassie. This is the door for leaving Spiritual Egypt or “the Matrix”/rekhem ([רֶחֶם]: SEE Exodus 13:12). YAH Willing, in the forward, we’ll explore the metaphysical significance of striking our doorposts with the Blood of The Lamb and it’s practical application in regards to the Appointed Times.

The 8th Plague Locusts devouring the System of Spiritual Egypt.

Moving forward, we account for the 8th plague through understanding the subsequent three beyts or sections of Exodus Chapter 10. Locusts are brought into the coasts of Egypt, by an “East wind”/Ruakh HaQedayim (רוּחַ הַקָּדִים)  because, at this point, YHWH hardens Pharaoh’s heart and HE WILL NOT LET US GO.

Torah records that the locusts, in one sense, ate up the remainder of the “herb of the land” and “fruit of the trees”. This parable could be applied to both Egypt’s spiritual and material economy.

Also, we read that the locusts covered the whole Face of the Earth. Here, it becomes crucial to note that Torah uses the word “Eye”/Ayin (עַיִן) for “Face”whereas in other areas of Scripture Panyim (פָּנִים)/”Face, Faces, Countenances” is used.

We receive a great revelation when we compare this observation with Zechariah Chapter 5. We should keep in mind that Zechariah (זְכַרְיָה) meaning the “Rememberance of Yah” is prophesying to the restored Remnant of Israel concerning the Gentile world establishment that they were surrounded by. On a certain level, we can see that this area of Zechariah is also addressing spiritual and material economy of the current Gentile world system.

These two areas of scripture (Exodus 10:12-20/Zechariah 5) are linked, in particular, by citing Zechariah 5:6. In this verse, concerning “weights and measures” or Eyphah (אֵיפָה), Torah also uses “Eye/Ayin  where the English (KJV) translates the Hebrew word as “their resemblance.”

The Rhema/”real time” revelation is evident on the “Great Seal” on the reverse of the U.S. one dollar bill. Moreover, if we pay attention, we find that this sigil is all around us including places such federal buildings, various industries and even inside the Vatican. (Author Note: This is not the “Eye of Re”. Any ancient hieroglyph of an eye contained within a triangle does not exist.)

Additionally, Zechariah 5:7  mentions a woman riding on the Ephah. Who is this woman? (See Revelation 17) From this context, this woman/(representing the Church of “Mystery Babylon”) symbolizes the “Papacy” of the Roman-Catholic Establishment (NOT Catholic people). The “Daughter of Babylon” would be the ancient Roman province of Albion also named Britannia.

In AD 43 the Roman Empire began its conquest of the island, establishing a province they called Britannia which came to encompass the parts of the island south of Caledonia.  In the 2nd century, Roman Britannia came to be personified as a goddess, armed with a trident and shield and wearing a Corinthian helmet. (Compare with Psalm 137:8/Isaiah 47:1/Jeremiah 50:42,51:33/Zechariah 2:7)

Thus saith Adoneikha YHWH, and thy Elohim that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.

There are many interesting documentaries that present substantial evidence that there is actually a “conspiracy” to usurp the earth’s economy by employing a system of faithless currency where the only resource that is able to back the worthless printed paper exchanged is based on the exploitation of humanity. One of the most intriguing investigations concerning the Gold at Fort Knox. The evidence presented reveals a high probability that it has actually been handed over to the house of Windsor or more correctly House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (Golgotha). Brother’s and sister’s are encouraged to research these matter.

The overall point is that Exodus Chapter 10 seems to be indicating an impending Economic Collapse in this Spiritual Egyptian system of false currency. The Haftarah reading Jeremiah 46 13-28 along with Revelation Chapter 9 provides us with further insight into this subject matter. Furthermore, it is logical to state that if a mass self-sufficient Exodus Movement were to occur, according to the Teaching of His Majesty, the current economic system of Spiritual Egypt would certainly suffer an implosion.

“Fret not thyself” Brothers and Sisters. In this portion, we read that the Children of Israel despoiled the Egyptians as each man asked of neighbor and the women of her neighbor vessels of silver and gold. This idea occurs twice during this portion. The first time as a command by YHWH in Exodus 11:2. The second time as an actual occurrence in Exodus 12:25. Also it was foretold to Moses at the Burning Bush in Exodus 3:21. Thus, it is witnessed 3 times (SEE Deuteronomy 17:6).

It does need to be noted that these vessels of silver and gold do not merely carry a physical interpretation but also have spiritual correspondences. The spiritual principles may be discerned through a biblical study of the context where the words gold, silver and vessel are used. This will become more clear during our study of the 19th portion Terumah. There’s also a crucial lesson to be learned by what the Children of Israel did with the substance that YHWH blessed them with in the upcoming 21st portion Ki Tisa.

Many may be asking “when will this transfer of wealth occur?” For the answer, we consider Matthew 24:14 “And This Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” In this age of technology that find ourselves living in this is not that difficult. We are able to utilize every device at our disposal that will assist us in this task. As we realize the truth of Daniel 12:4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” This is to say that faulty theology may have indoctrinated us to “sit back and do nothing” and that The Kingdom is merely an abstract concept”. However, The Our Father Prayer would contradict this notion. We understand that the Kingdom of Heaven is within but is it not, also, to be manifested outwardly?   

The 9th Plague Darkness of Spiritual Ignorance.

In Verses 21-29

The Plague of Darkness that could be felt has often been presented as a paradox. The paradox being whether The Darkness implies the absence of HaElohim or His Presence. Many have presented Scripture concerning this contemplation, such as Psalm 18:11, where we read “He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.” Contemplating this and other verses presented in from this “paradoxical perspective”, the shortcoming becomes obvious. This perspective all seem to has failed to hold any regard for “The New Covenant”/Brit Khadashah ברית חדשה) ) and the Revelation of His Majesty.

However, this may be clarified by referring to Genesis 1:4 “And HaElohim saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness”. In this portion we read, in verse 23 , “but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”Moreover, in this portion we read in Exodus 11:7 “…YHWH doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.”

There many verses in The New Covenant (Not New Testament: It is all One Testament) that speaks regarding The Light. To illustrate we reflect upon John 1:5-7 “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yeshua HaMashiakh, his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

Therefore, this is no longer a paradox. It would mean that those of us who are willing and able to receive Yeshua HaMashiakh as the Living Word dwelling in our Living Body Tabernacle, then we will be able to make progress, in His Grace, as we seek to walk in light. In that light we will come to behold the Truth of His Majesty Qedamawi Haile Sellassie. For those whom choose darkness His Majesty’s Glory will remain hidden in “His Secret Place”. Moses admonished us “See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;” (Deuteronomy 30:15)
