Parashah 14 Wa’eira פָּרָשָׁה וָאֵרָא: HaShem/The Revelation of The Gospel of His Majesty/Hardening of the Heart

Shalom! During this Sabbathical Torah Portion study of Wa’eira/”and I Appeared” (I being YHWH), Ha Shem (השם) or “THE NAME” YHWH (יהוה‎‏) is revealed to Moses. In English, YaHeWaHe “HE BE Whom HE BE/The Existing One” needs to be understood within the context of Exodus 3:14 where HaElohim “The Tri-Une Source of Existence” appears to Moses and exclaims “I BE Whom I BE” (EhYAH Esher EhYAH [אֶֽהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶֽהְיֶה]). In other words, HaElohim is able to manifest HIMSELF in whatever manner HE chooses to accomplish His Will. As “The Existing One”, we know that YHWH’s presence is with us continually. This parashah also happens to be the 14th Reading. (2 Sevens: Father and Son)

In Exodus 3:15, He gives the charge to Moses to convey to The Children of Israel that “ this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial onto all generations.” (compare Hebrews 13:8 Yeshua HaMashiakh is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.)

Yad He Waw He

Yet, Torah does not record the tetragrammaton Yad He Waw He to be redundant. In Hebrew these letters have a great significance.

The Yad (י) signifies “The Hand of HaElohim/Divine Spark”. The Ancient Paleo-Hebrew (Yad) is depicted as “an arm with an open hand”  Also, for brothers and sisters interested in studying astro-theology, Yad is a name for an aspect which forms a triangle shape. It is a rare astrological aspect that involves any three planets or points in the celestials that form an isoceles triangle. This phenomenon occurs when two planets are sextile (60° aspect-This occurrence would form an alignment geometrically equivalent with “The Star of Jacob” or “The Shield of David”) to each other, and both are then quincunx (150° aspect-This occurrence would form an alignment geometrically equivalent with the unilateral cross) to a third.

The He (ה) signifies “The Breath of HaElohim/Divine Breath”. In the Ancient Paleo-Hebrew glyph (He) is depicted as “a man with his arms raised” and symbolizes the appearance of or beholding a Divine Revelation. (Click for Revelation of His Majesty Part 1)

The Waw (ו) is used in Hebrew grammar as a connective similar to the English usage of “and”. In Hebrew Thought it signifies the connection between Heaven and Earth. This is evident in Genesis 1:1 “Heavens and Earth”: in the Hebrew text (אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם [ו]ְאֵת הָאָֽרֶץ: NOTICE proceeding the Waw we see the Aleph-Taw “Alpha-Omega:’The Signature of “Christ'”/MaShiYAH[מָשִׁיחַ] “Anointed One”) Also, in the Ancient Paleo-Hebrew glyph (Waw) is depicted as “a tent peg”. YAH Willing, we will see the significance of this in regards to the Mishkan “Tabernacle” in Parashah 19 Terumah.

The Revelation

Also, in this portion, we read that HaElohim was known to the Patriarch’s Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as “The Sustainer/”Almighty”/El Shaddai (אֵל שַׁדָּי). However, at this point in scripture, responding to the cries of suffering due to the cruel bondage inflicted upon the Children of Israel (SEE Exodus 2:23-25) HaElohim is now revealing: HIS Covenant Name YHWH the “Power of the Hebrews “/YHWH Elohe HaEberyim (יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי הָֽעִבְרִיִּים)  and the “Power of Israel”/YHWH Elohe Israel (יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל).

We read in Matthew 5:18 “For verily I say to you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah, till all be fulfilled.” This is our assurance that the Proclamation of YHWH’s Covenant, of our redemption out of the present psychological/soul bondage of Spiritual Egypt, is still open to all whom are willing and able to receive it, Jew (Black) and Gentile (White), being biblically and prophetically accurate. (SEE Roman 9:24 compare with The Utterance of His Majesty during an interview conducted with Meet the Press (1963): “I must say that black and white as forms of speech, as a means of judging mankind, should be eliminated from human society”)

The Revelation of His Majesty in The Name of Qedamawi Haile Sellassie may be better comprehended by contemplating Isaiah 62:2 “And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a NEW NAME, which the mouth of the YHWH shall name.”

The Fullness of YHWH’s Covenant plan, in the current time of our existence, is discernible when Exodus 6:5-8 is accepted as The Living Word. The passage reveals the details of YHWH (HE WHO BE His Majesty) Qedamawi Haile Selassie’s “First Power of The Trinity” covenant care in and through Yeshua HaMashiakh/Iyesus Kristos. This is the Gospel of His Majesty and His Christ Iyesus concealed in Torah as a prophetic shadow type.

 “and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:”

The Covenant

When we are able to accept and receive the entire Bible as HaElohim’s Living Word, YHWH appears to us, through the Holy Spirit. HE affirms His covenant (found in Exodus 6:6-8) to us which is 7 fold. Again, we see the 7 or Sheba (שְׁבָא) which signifies an oath (SEE gen 21:31).

YHWH (HE Who BE His Majesty Qedamawi Haile Selassie) tells us (Keep in Mind 1Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of HaElohim: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”)

1.  AND HE will Free us (WeHotz’eti [וְהֹוצֵאתִי]) from the Spiritual Burdens of the Egyptian or Carnal Mind.

2.  AND HE will Deliver us (WeHitz’alti [וְהִצַּלְתִּי]) from the Spiritual Bondage of the Egyptian Mind.

3.  AND HE will Redeem us (WeGa’aeliti [וְגָאַלְתִּי]) with His Arm Outstretched and Great Judgments.

4. AND HE will Accept us (WeLaqakhti [וְלָקַחְתִּי]) as His People (Ras Tafari See Revelation 2:17/3:12)

5. AND HE will BE YHWH (WeHaYeti [וְהָיִיתִי] our Elohim and Known by Us (WeYadotim [וִֽידַעְתֶּם])

6. AND HE will Bring Us (W’aHabati [וְהֵבֵאתִי]: Notice the Hebrew Word “Love” Ahabah [אַהֲבָה] is contained in this sentiment/compare with John 3:16) into the Land Sworn to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (which is the physical land but moreover signifies the Shalom of Rest through Faith in HIM/See Hebrews 11:8-16)

7. AND HE will Gives (WeNatati [וְנָתַתִּי]) The Divine Heritage of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to Us (Heritage being MowRASah [מֹורָשָׁה] in Hebrew)

Yet in verse 9 we see that The Children of Israel did not “Hearken” or Shema The Word/Dabar (דבר: Notice Bar “Son in Aramaic” in the Word) given to Moses because of their vexation caused by Spiritual Bondage to the Egyptian Carnal Mentality.

Nonetheless, in verse 10, YHWH gives Moses and Aaron Charge not only over the Children of Israel but also Pharoah. The word “Charge” in Hebrew is Tzawah (צָוָה: an appointment, an order or commission and in this case would imply Authority.) It should be noted that by The Order of His Majesty Qedamawi Haile Sellassie, as Defender of The Faith, the Levitical Priesthood was brought out of Egypt, in reality. The Coptic and Ethiopian Churches reached an agreement on 13 July 1948, that led to autocephaly for the Ethiopian Church. Five bishops were immediately consecrated by the Coptic Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of All Africa, empowered to elect a new Patriarch for their church, and the successor to Abuna Qerellos IV would have the power to consecrate new bishops. Since the Derg Rebellion the Ethiopian Orthodox Church no longer participates in the Divine Monarchical Order of Church and State, in a sense “wandering around in the wilderness”. (Recall The Rebellion of Korah/SEE Numbers 16)

The First Advent was Not Recognized by the Chief Priests. Will The “Chief Priests” Recognize The Second Advent before The Judgment? 

John 19:17 ”

And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:” compare

His Imperial Majesty, Qedamawi Emperor Haile Selassie, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Elect of God, Defender of the Faith, King of Kings of Ethiopia. Born 1892, Crown Prince and Regent 1917″ Despite all whatever devices Satan and his illuminutty co-conspirators (Skull and Bones, Order of the Golden Dawn, the Boule etc. etc.) attempt, THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND THE WRATH OF THE LAMB!   

When we study the acronym found in the first letters of Yeshua Hanotzri WeMelek Hayehudim (יֵשׁוּעַ הַנָּצְרִי וַמֶלֶךְ הַיְּהוּדִים) which would be YHWH/ INRI (Ἰησοῦς ὁ Ναζωραῖος ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων) in the Greek or “Jesus of Nazareth King of The Jews”. This declaration appears on the sign that was placed on the cross by Ponchos Pilate (who would eventually be convicted of the Truth of The Messiah and converted in his heart. The heart is also a Theme expounded on in this portion).

The miracle of this acronym, leaves us not to wonder at the reaction of the Chief Priests of Israel when they saw this Divine “coincidence” (see John 19: 19-22). Did the chief priests not recognize that this was a continuing fulfillment of Parashah Wa’era in Exodus Chapter 6:6 where it reads ” I will redeem you with a stretched out arm and a mighty hand”? (See Psalm 110:1/Isaiah 53:7/Matthew 22:44 Compare with John 19:14-15: The Prophecy of Mashiakh Ben Yosef are innumerable throughout Torah, Prophets and Writings)

To expound on John 19:14-15, the “arm” (as in “His stretched out Arm”) in Hebrew is translated as Zerowa (זְרוֹעַ). The Zeroa appears on our Passover Plate or Seder and is symbolic of the Seh HaElohim (שֶׂה הָאֱלֹהִֽים) or “Lamb of God”. In Exodus 12:1-13, the Children of Israel were commanded to strike the Blood of the Passover Lamb upon their door posts (signifying entrance into The Kingdom of Heaven/ Also the door posts is symbolized by the Hebrew letter Khait (ח) which looks like a door frame. The letter Khait is the first letter in the Hebrew Word KHAI which means Life and carries a gematria standard value of 8.) Also, The Blood of The Lamb protected The Children of Israel from the Angel of Death when the final plague was carried out upon Egypt (compare with Leviticus 17:11). Therefore, to receive the full Revelation of Christ in His Majesty Qedamawi Haile Sellassie, we must accept Yeshua HaMashiakh as the “Son of God”/Ben HaElohim (בֵּן הָאֱלֹהִֽים).  (Please refer to John 10 and compare with John 14:7 admonishes us “If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know HIM, and have seen HIM.”) 

Ieshu “Jesus” in Aramaic Script. As Moses was a Servant in the “House of GOD”/Beyt HaElohim (בַּיִת הָאֱלֹהִֽים). HaAdon Yeshua (הָאָדוֹן יֵשׁוּעַ) is Master of The House. For those familiar with the “Hyksos”/Hekashuos “Shepherd Kings” hieroglyph along with the Hebrew glyphs, the above glyph should be put into context without much difficulty.

The Hardening of The Heart.

Although the events that occurred in Egypt/Mitzrayim (מִצְרַיִם) is now being proven as historical, Torah uses “The Hardening of Pharaoh’s Heart”/as a parabolic objective lesson to us. YHWH Elohim is the Divine Sovereign of Creation. We see this explained in The Brit Hadashah “New Covenant” reading for this portion (Romans 9:14-33). However, we are given “free will”/Bekhirat Khofsit (בחרת חופשית)  to choose how we Think, Feel, Act etc. In Hebrew thought the “Heart”/Leb (לֵב) is very similar, in concept, to the “soul”/ Nephesh (נֶפֶשׁ). But Leb carries more of a sense of being a container or receptacle, during our time on this earth.

We may all recognize that during our growth in “Christ Consciousness” we all often encounter situations or realizations where The Holy Spirit reveals that our heart is not aligned with the will of His Majesty.

In these encounters, we notice that our conscience is not at “peace”/shalom with YHWH. Nonetheless, in the Grace of His Majesty, we are given an opportunity to “return”/teshubah (תשובה) by having a “change of heart/mind”/metanoio (μετανοέω).

This is the analogy of the Hardening of Pharaoh’s Heart. Again, we need to recognize that Pharaoh, even in ourselves, signifies The Executive Office of “A ruling State of Carnal Consciousness”. Psalm 34:18/51:17/Isaiah 57:15, in essence, are all exhortations telling us that YHWH HaElohim desires a broken heart and a humbled spirit when His Children are chastened.

 The weighing of The Heart “ieb” against the Reed “Feather of Ma’at” in The Hall of Two Truths (Father and Son). The Truth of this metaphysical principle is preserved and encoded in Torah.

To grasp what is occurring within ourselves, through the phases of our spiritual growth, it is important to recall the “charge” given to Moses and Aaron, by YHWH. Additionally, In Exodus 7:1, YHWH declares that Moses is made a god to Pharaoh and Aaron is his prophet.” (Also see Exodus 4:11-16). The metaphysics of Moses and Aaron are beyond the scope of this dissemination. A good insight, into this level of study, can be accessed through The Metaphysical Bible Dictionary. Suffice it to say that Moses represents the Consciousness of Divine Law and Aaron represents the Executive Power or “Intellect of Divine Law”. Moreover, we see, in Exodus 7:7, that Moses was 80 (2 times the age of maturity) and Aaron was 83 (2 times the age of maturity and the 3 also signifying unity, completion and the Trinity)

Each of the plagues called upon Egypt carry various levels of metaphysical significance but are also beyond the scope of this presentation.  It is very important to discern that during the first 5 plagues (or calls to repentance away from the Carnal Egyptian Mind. Also, it would do us well to keep in mind that 5 is the number of Grace.) Torah does not indicate that YHWH hardened Pharaoh’s heart but that Pharaoh’s heart was hardened using the Hebrew words (weKhazak Leb Paroah [וַיֶּחֱזַק לֵב פַּרְעֹה ]) In other words, in his own stubbornness, the situation brought upon Pharaoh, by YHWH, caused him to become more obstinate and arrogant against the Divine Decree given by The Sovereign King of The Universe.

If we are honest, at times we might actually find ourselves drowning in the Yam suph (יָמָּה סּוּף) or Sea of Reed (Reed signifying a Standard of Judgment: This, in the original concept, is very much like the Feather of Ma’at. SEE Acts 7:22) After the sixth plague, beginning in Exodus 9:12, Torah does indicate that YHWH hardened Pharoah’s heart using the Hebrew words (WeKhazak YHWH ET-Leb paroah [וַיְחַזֵּק יְהוָה אֶת־לֵב פַּרְעֹה]: Again notice the Aleph Taw before the word Leb). Torah uses this to demonstrate a Spiritual Principle of HaElohim (the Creative Name of Our Tri-Une Source which carries the attribute of Divine Transcendence and Justice.) This principle is observable even in the physical realm, in the lives of others and ourselves.

Many of us, in this time, finding ourselves under the influence of the Carnal Mind of Spiritual Egypt should be able to relate to this principle. It does not have to be this particular depiction but the principle may be applied to any trap in Spiritual Egypt. Still, where there’s Life there is Hope, in the Salvation provided for by YHWH in and through Yeshua HaMashiah. (Who awaits us still with Stretched out Arms)

In other words, in the real time or Rhema revelation, is metaphorically likened to quote from the Matrix movie “The Architect cannot get beyond choice”, we are given the freedom of choice to do good or to do evil. In and through, Yeshua HaMashiakh we are able to open the Matrix/Rekhem ([רֶחֶם]: SEE Exodus 13:12), However, the choice of freewill is ours. ALL Praise BE to Qedamawi Haile Sellassie in The Name of Yeshua for the Bible so that we may seek discernment after our repentance and New Birth in Christ!

In conclusion, we sum it up with The Teaching of His Majesty. Let us not harden our hearts to His Majesty.

“To make our wills obedient to good influences and to avoid evil, is to show the greatest wisdom. In order to follow this aim one must be guided by living Faith. Progress without religion is just like a life surrounded by unknown perils and can be compared to a body without a soul.”

“Knowing that material and spiritual progress are essential to man, we must ceaselessly work for the equal attainment of both. Only then shall we be able to acquire that absolute inner calm so necessary to our well-being.

Whenever conflict arises between material and spiritual values, the conscience plays an important role and anyone who suffers from a guilty conscience is never really free from this problem until he makes peace with himself and his conscience.”

“Discipline of the mind is a basic ingredient of genuine morality and therefore of spiritual strength. Spiritual power is the eternal guide, in this life and the life after, for man ranks supreme among all creatures. Led forward by spiritual power, man can reach the summit destined for him by the Great Creator.”
